Violet Victorian outfit/ Wild West Woman
This year we put on victorian mystery dinner and I had the task of making an outfit for my mother (she was in charge of the event.) The murder mystery is old west style, but the dinner more formal, so for the dinner she wore a bodice and skirt, for the play she wore the bodice with some culottes, since she was Belle Star, the (murderer!!). She chose to have it purple with black accents, so for the outfit we used purple broadcloth with black trim and buttons. the skirt was black cotton with a purple, gold, and green trim.
