Here is the first costume I ever made, a medieval peasant costume. I actually made this in junior high school for a production of "Beauty and the Beast" were I played Louise the maid. Well, I looked better than everyone else in the play, even if this is not a great costume pattern. I used McCalls 8449 view B that is now discontinued. The pattern is very easy, it has a elastic chemise and a bodice that can have an apron attached, which I did since I was the "maid". Below are pictures of the pattern and my costume.
Here is a picture of me wearing the costume at a halloween party when I was in high school, and one of my sister wearing it at a medieval dinner and dance.
